Meet the baker

My name is Nikki Schieche, I grew up in Barre Mills Wisconsin, and I’ve always had a passion for creating art and baking. I started baking in a commercial kitchen in 2020 at Oma Java in West Salem, and from there I’ve learned so many skills from other bakers and from recipe books. I made it my mission to make and perfect all of my favorite pastries from scratch, and Waddles Bakery is the result of that goal!

Realizing the importance of spending time understanding recipes, using good quality ingredients, and sharing everything I make with friends and family, that’s what makes baking special to me.
